ACTIVITY 4
Level: 1st degree of Primary
1º Trimester
Unit 4:
Activity: The city
This activity will be as follows:
-A tour in your city. Students will go on a trip in their city. They will be given all the information in English and if they want to ask something they will have to use the English language. (speaking and listening)
-In this tour they will be given a plan of their city to place important buildings and to orientate themwselves. They will have to croos out places they visit. (reading, listening)
-When they go back to class they will have to write the name of their favourite place in town, and then, they will have to draw it. They will also have to make a presentation with pictures (writing)

Activity: Meteorologist
This activity will be as follows:
-A map of their province will appear in the digital board. Students will listen to an audio forecast related to the map. They will have to go up to the digital board and draw what the audio says. If the audio says "sunny in Madrid" they will have to draw a sun on the Madrid area. (listening)
-The teacher picks up another student to go up to the board in order to explain what the weather is like in each city (speaking)
-Another student is chosen to write vocabulary in the board. He or she will be given a list of weather words. They have to listen again to the audio and pick up the list words they hear. (listening, reading, writing).
-They will have to sing the weather's song.

This activity will be as follows:
-Students will be gathered by groups. The teacher will give each group a house drawing plan and explain it (reading, listening). Kids will have to repeat the vocabulary (speaking):
-The teacher will say a part of the house and students will have find the part of the house in the plan and they have to make with plasticine the furniture that is connected to the part of th house said. (listening, reading).
-Finally, when they have already studied all the parts of the house they will be separated one by one. They will receive the same copy of the plan but with names disorganised, so they will have to organize them correctly. (reading, writing)

This activity will be as follows:
-The teacher will take a piece of paper from the Bingo in which the name of a part of the body is written in. Once students hear the part of the body which appears written in the paper they have to touch this part in their bodies as soon as they can. This will go on and on until all names are read by the teacher. (Listening)
-The teacher will give students different bingo cards with names of parts of the body. The teacher again will take pieces of papers from the Bingo and this time they will have to play Bingo. If any student has in their card the part of the body that the teacher says they have to cross out this word. (listening and reading)
-The first student to shout Bingo will come out to the digital board, and he or she will have as reward to look for a missing letter in an incomplete word with an image. Then, he or she will have to read aloud the complete word (listening, reading writing and speaking)
